History of the Company
October 1962 Ushio Kogyo Inc. (capital: 500,000 yen) was established in Minami Ward, Nagoya City for manufacturing and sales of press dies.
September 1963 The Head office of Ushio Kogyo Inc. was relocated to Nisshin-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture.
May 1967 Kakimoto Sangyo Co., Ltd (capital: One million yen) was established in Nisshin-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture, by separating the Sales Department of the Ushio Kogyo Inc.
September 1971 Ushio Kogyo Inc. relocated the head office plant to Togo-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture
October 1972 The company name, Kakimoto Sangyo Co., Ltd., was changed to Ushio Air Tool Co., Ltd.
January 1973 Ushio Polishing Loboratory Co,.Ltd. (capital: 1.5 million yen) was established in Nisshin-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture for development and manufacture of grinding stones and cutting tools.
March 1973 The head office of Ushio Air Tool Co., Ltd. was relocated to Togo-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture.
August 1983 Notoushio Co., Ltd. (capital: 10 million yen) was established in Shikamachi, Hakui-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture for the mass-production of parts for pneumatic tools.
October 1983 Umec Co., Ltd. (capital: 3 million yen) was established in Nisshin-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture for research and development of numerical control devices.
April 1984 Notoushio Co., Ltd. established a head office plant (currently, Noto plant of this company) in Shikamachi, Hakui-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture.
December 1987 As a result of the organizational restructure, Ushio Kogyo Inc. was renamed to Ushio Kogyo Co., Ltd.
May 1988 Ushio Air Tool Co., Ltd. was renamed to Ushio Co., Ltd. as a result of the merger of four companies, Ushio Kogyo Co., Ltd., Ushio Polishing Loboratory Co,.Ltd., Notoushio Co., Ltd., and Umec Co., Ltd.
October 1988 A Nagoya Plant (current plant of head office) was established for increased production of green sheet substrate punching machines.
December 1988 Kanazawa Loboratory was established in Nagata, Kanazawa City for concentration of research and development of new products.
January 1990 Noto Plant was established.
February 1990 Kanazawa Loboratory was relocated to 3 Nishi, Shimenomachi, Kanazawa City.
November 1990 Registered as an over-the-counter share of the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
April 1991 Kanazawa Loboratory was relocated to Shimenomachi, Kanazawa City and the company building was constructed.
July 1991 The head office was relocated to Naka Ward, Nagoya City.
August 1992 The company name was changed to UHT Co., Ltd.
August 1997 Kanazawa Loboratory was renamed to Kanazawa Development Center.
November 1998 "Future In" (machine assembly factory for development) was established in the Kanazawa Development Center.
July 1999 The head office was relocated to Togo-cho, Aichi-gun, Aichi Prefecture.
March 2002 NPF Partners Co., Ltd. conducted a takeover bid of our company shares as a part of Management Buy Out (MBO) led by the management of our company.
July 2002 In the annual meeting of shareholders, NPF Partners Co., Ltd. approved the merger as a surviving company.
October 2002 Over-the-counter registration was abolished.
November 2002   As a result of the merger with NPF Partners Co., Ltd., a new company, UHT Co., Ltd. inherited the business.
June 2003 A joint company "BEIJING UHT CORPOPATION" was established in China.
July 2005 UHT starts manufacturing Laser Punchers and Laser Cutters.
September 2007 UHT reduces the capital from JPY 1.0054 billion to JPY 305.4 million.
September 2007 UHT repurchases 468 shares,  64% of their issued shares, from its main shareholder,NOMURA PRINCIPAL FINANCE.
October 2008 UHT establishes a technical service center for machinery in Shanghai,China.
