QWhich grinder is better, air type or electric type?

A

A Each has its strengths / weaknesses.
Roughly, Air type that does not require a controller / high rotation& continuous operation is possible.
Low rotation & high torque / low noise / adjustable rotation speed is possible for electric type.
This is just a general theory, so it depends on the application and conditions.

QCan I use a tip tool made by another company?

We do not perform matching tests with other companies' tip tools, so we cannot guarantee it.
When using the tip tools of other companies, use the ones with which the maximum rotation speed and shaft diameter are complied.
In addition, please note that we will not be able to deal with any problems.

QI would like a parts list.

QWhen I buy a new angle type grinder, the gear sounds louder than when I used it before.

A

A When the angle type grinder is new, the gears are not worn, so the corners of the gears are raised.
Therefore, the operating noise may be noisy or the crisp noise may be loud.
If you use it as it is for about half a year, the gear will naturally become fit in and the sound will be suppressed, so please use it as it is for a while.
However, if it is accompanied by extreme heat generation, another cause may be considered, so please contact the dealers of purchase or us.

QWhat is the pitch of the screws on the tip tool mounting part of MAG-123 (093)N?

A It will be M7-P0.75.

MAG-122N is M6-P0.75.

Q Please tell me the direction of rotation of the grinder.

A

Looking at the grindstone from the front, it turns counterclockwise. The same applies to angle grinders.

QIs there a reverse rotation model for MSG-3BSN?

A MSG-3BSN L (reverse rotation model) is available.

QDo you sell only the main body, not the set product?

A We are sorry, but we do not sell the product as a single unit only. It will be sold as a set package.

QTorque is weak, so is there a model with stronger torque?

A

A Pneumatic tools are proportional to the number of rotations and torque. Use the following method to remove the factors that reduce the number of rotations.
・ If oil is not supplied, the rotation resistance of the blade will increase, causing a decrease in rotation speed, heat generation, and shortening of life. If you do not supply oil, use a lubricator to supply oill. (Lubricate VG32, so-called turbine oil, about 2 drops per minute)
・ At low pressure, the number of rotations is low, so you may feel that the torque is insufficient, so try using a higher air pressure. In the case of 3BSNs, the maximum rotation speed (65,000rpm / no load) is reached at about 0.6MPa. However, please note that the life will be shortened if used at high pressure. Also, avoid using it at high pressure exceeding 0.6MPa. Causing extremely short life and fever.
・ You feel that the torque is insufficient even when the amount of air is insufficient. Check if the delivery of air e of the compressor is insufficient. As a guide, it is 120 to 180 liters / minute. If there is a shortage, add more tanks or replace the compressor.
・ Do not use by pressing. Pressing strongly will cause a decrease in the number of rotations, so slide the tip tool and workpiece slightly.

QThe grinder has heat when it is used.

A

・ The supply air pressure may be too high, so try lowering the pressure with a regulator.
・ The oil may not be supplied. Please supply oil at all times using a lubricator. Please also check if the oil tank is empty.
・ The temperature of the supply air may be high. If the air temperature rises while passing through long pipes in the summer, it will lead to heat generation of the grinder.
・ Bearing may be worn. In that case, repair is required.

QI want to change the collet size of MSG-3B SN. (3 mm → 1/8 inch or 3 mm → 2.34 mm, etc.)

QCan it be used for deburring?

We are sorry.
Turbolrap is a product specialized for polishing the surface of molds, so it is not suitable for use outside of applications such as deburring.
Not limited to deburring, it is vulnerable to input from the front of the tip tool, and if it is used in such a way that it is attached or bumped, internal parts may be damaged.
Please use it for polishing work using the side of the tip tool.

In addition, we do not sell parts except for some consumables, so please request the distributor to make repairs.

QCan I use a tip tool made by another company?

A

We do not perform matching tests with other companies' tip tools, so we cannot guarantee it.
Unlike grinders, there is no specified maximum number of rotations, so it is relatively safe, but if used improperly, it may cause injury or damage to the object to be machined or the turbo wrap body.
Please consider the same weight and length as our standard tip tool as a guide.
In addition, oil stones and vitrified stones are fragile, so use a backing plate, etc., and use them for a short time.
Please note that we will not be able to deal with any problems that may occur if you use a tip tool other than genuine tip tools, even if it is a problem with the main unit.

Q I don't know which one to choose, the linear type or the swing type.

The standard machine is TLL-07 (linear type, 0.7 mm stroke).
If you are unsure of your choice, try TLL-07.
We also rent out demo machines, so please check with the tool dealers if you wish.

QIs horizontal processing possible?

We are sorry.
Due to the collet shape, it is not very suitable for horizontal pulling.
Early wear of bearings and collet distortion may occur early.

QWhat are the precautions for process design?

A

The micro spindle uses a vane motor.
Due to the structure of the vane motor, the startability is not 100%.
Therefore, when using it intermittently, do not stop the rotation by dividing it into idling and main operation instead of turning it on and off.
Turn the idling at about 0.2MPa.
When turning it unattended, check the rotation with a sound sensor or the like.
If there is a problem with oil adhering to the work, install the spindle from bottom to top.
If there is no problem with oil adhesion, there is no specification for the installation direction.

QWhat is different from the micro grinder?

The basic design of the motor is the same, but designed for machine mounting.
As a feature
・ Maximum rotation speed is 75,000 rpm
・ Flanged (MSA / MSB / MSC) / Polished and holder included (MSD / MSE)
・ Collet nut is dustproof
・ Pin holes are also dustproof
・ The inside of the air motor has a polished finish to maintain the number of rotations at low pressure and improve startability.
・ Valve of the main body is omitted (MSA / MSC / MSE) because it is adjusted by airline air valves.
・ Side exhaust and muffler equipment (MSA)

Q I want to use a carbide bar with a maximum rotation speed of 24,000 ...

We are sorry, but please stop.
As a possible danger, centrifugal force can cause breakage of the blade and shaft and bending of the shaft, which can hurt the user.
Also, if a blade with a diameter larger than the shaft diameter is used at high rotation, kickback when the blade edge bites will put an excessive load on the base of the blade and collet due to the principle of the wheel set, causing breakage and injury or damaging the grinder.
Please be sure to keep the maximum number of rotations.

QWhen I use New Soft Wrap, does the color transfer to the work?

New Soft Wrap is developed on the premise of metal polishing.
Don't worry about the color transfer on metal polishing.
For polishing other than metal such as acrylic, please use it after testing with scraps of the same material or in an inconspicuous part of the materials.

QI want to use a UHT tip tool with a grinder from another company. What is the problem?

We are sorry.
We do not perform matching tests between UHT tip tools and grinders made by other companies, so we cannot guarantee it.
If you want to use it, please check the safety such as test run and keep the maximum number of rotations.

QThere is only the actual product of Pol-Per, but do you know the number? What about Cup Wheel?

QWhat fittings should I have when purchasing a grinder or turbo wrap?

The quick joint is compatible with HI CUPLA, so it is not necessary if you have a HI CUPLA socket.
If you are using a joint other than HI CUPLA, you will need to purchase an additional hose joint made of metal.
Nitto Kohki's FULL BLOW CUPLA cannot be matched, so please prepare a hose joint metal (sold separately) and a HI CUPLA plug.
Also, due to compatibility issues, air leakage may occur even with a HI CUPLA socket.
In that case, please prepare a hose joint metal (sold separately) and a HI CUPLA plug.

Q Is there a meter sale of air hoses of the grinders?

When ordering, please order each XX meters for XX pcs.
Two hose bands are included per 1 meter.
The hose attached to the grinder body when purchasing a new product is 1.5 m.

QWhat is the inner / outer diameter of the grinder air hose?

A

The inner diameter is 4.5 mm.
The outer diameter is 6.5 mm.
The urethane hose is wrapped with a cloth to prevent it from tearing and retain its softness, but it loses its elasticity or tears due to aging, so regular replacement is recommended.

QI want a metal female screw part labeled SUP.
